Work with us! |

Camberwell Choir School is an equal opportunities employer. We are fully committed to ensuring that the only criterion that governs recruitment is merit. We work hard to ensure that recruitment is conducted fairly, with regard to appointing the best candidate to any job, irrespective of gender, ethnicity or race, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief. Reasonable adjustments are made for disabled candidates and for anyone who is appointed. We also want to reflect the diversity of the community of Camberwell, and believe that recruiting fairly is a key way of achieving this. |

We are looking for volunteers: Saturday volunteers – you would not have to come every week, but we would work out a rota to suit you. We would also make sure you know what’s happening each session so you’re confident about what you’re doing. Could you commit to coming at least once a month for an hour or more? This might suit a young person of 15+ who enjoys music or relating to younger children and needs outside activities for their CV/potential references – but volunteers of any age are welcome. We will arrange a free enhanced check with the Criminal Records Bureau, essential when working with children. Management Committee members - to spread the work a bit more than at present. Management Committee members help on Saturdays; at shows; and with managing the project and raising money to keep us going, mainly by writing letters to organisations that hand out money to projects like ours. We meet about twice a term on a weekday evening (childcare or other caring expenses are paid) at the CCS office in the Parish Hall, and then we go away and do what’s needed between meetings. Again, we all work together, so if you bring enthusiasm, we will help you learn how to do what’s needed. |
