On Saturday 8 May 2010 Camberwell Choir School received a Civic Award from Southwark Council for its significant contribution to the life of the borough. The awards are presented by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor or Past Mayors.

Patron Sir Willard White shared in the joy of CCS in receiving the award.

The Children sang at the ceremony, which was held in St Giles Parish Church, Camberwell.
